2 people hurt in Fort Pierce shooting

FORT PIERCE, Fla. — The Fort Pierce Police Department said two people were wounded in a shooting Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to shooting activity in the 3000 block of Avenue M at about 7:41 p.m.

Two victims were wounded and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Fort Pierce detectives are working to identify any witnesses that could lead them to the suspect(s) involved in the case.
